Stock that does not match
Physical stock and the books disagree, and reconciliation takes days every month.
Warehousing & distribution
Warehouse management software (WMS) records every movement of stock into, within and out of a warehouse: receiving, putaway to locations, picking, packing, dispatch and counts. ImliStack builds custom WMS for warehouses and distributors whose operations do not fit packaged tools, with barcode or QR scanning on phones and integration with the ERP or accounting system already in use.

The problem
Physical stock and the books disagree, and reconciliation takes days every month.
Staff search the warehouse because nobody recorded where goods were put away.
Inward and outward entries are written by hand at the gate and typed in later.
Wrong items or quantities leave the warehouse and come back as returns.
Third-party warehouses calculate storage and handling charges in spreadsheets.
What we build
Not a ready-made product: we design and build the modules you need, then extend them in phases.
Scan goods in and out on Android phones or handheld scanners, with purchase order matching at goods-in.
Putaway to racks and bins, with stock visible by location.
Pick lists, packing checks, dispatch notes and gate passes.
Cycle counts with variance reports and approval before adjustment.
Traceability by batch, lot, grade or expiry where products need it.
Customer-wise storage, handling and space charges calculated automatically.

An append-only stock ledger and inventory reports built for a manufacturer, the same foundation a WMS uses.
Bulk ordering, variants and dispatch flows for a B2B phone distribution marketplace.
FAQ
Warehouse management software (WMS) tracks stock as it is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched, usually by location and often by batch or lot. It gives a live, accurate view of what is in the warehouse and where.
An ERP manages the business as a whole: finance, purchasing, sales and inventory totals. A WMS manages the warehouse floor in detail: locations, putaway, picking, packing and counts. Many businesses run a WMS alongside their ERP and sync orders and stock between them.
Usually yes. Orders, stock and invoices can be exchanged with Tally through its import and integration interfaces and with SAP products through their APIs. What is possible depends on the version, licence and access, which we confirm during discovery.
A first release covering inward, dispatch and stock by location is typically live in about 6 to 10 weeks. Picking optimisation, billing and integrations are added in later phases. Timelines depend on the number of warehouses, product types and integrations.
Yes. ImliStack works remotely with UK warehouses and distributors. Typical UK requirements include goods-in against purchase orders, barcode scanning, multi-location stock, dispatch notes and integration with Sage, Xero or QuickBooks, all of which we scope during discovery.
Cost depends on scope: number of sites and users, barcode hardware, batch or expiry tracking, billing rules and integrations. We give a fixed-scope estimate after a short discovery rather than a generic price.
